A consultancy that provides advisory services to the hospitality industry. Aside from being the Managing Director, also one of the co-founders of ATTA. ATTA has business associates from Europe, United States, South East Asia and Australia where they, collectively or individually, contribute their experiences as and when needed in any of ATTA’s projects.
BOARD AFFILIATIONS:
- Gulf Hotels Group – Board Member and Adviser to the Chairman for International Relations in Gulf Hotels Group, that also operates Gulf Brands International, Gulf Executive Residences, Gulf Convention Center and Ocean Paradise in Zanzibar.
- Tourism Services Company – Board Member, a company owned by all five star hotels in Bahrain to support tourism services at large.
- Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) – Board Member and holding positions in various committees.
CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS:
Gulf Hotel Group Graduated at Brighton Technical College for Catering
Kingdom of Bahrain and Hotel Management in 1971 after which worked as
1971 – 2007 Management Trainee at the Gulf Hotel and was appointed in various management position until he became the General Manager – Gulf Hotel Bahrain in 1980 and finally promoted as the Managing Director of Gulf Hotels Group from 2001 until end of March 2007 and remains with the Group as a Board Member and Adviser to the Chairman for International Relations.
As General Manager, he has been involved with all the development that took place at the Gulf Hotel. Since he took over in 1980 the hotel has only 260 rooms and one restaurant, he and his team turned Gulf Hotel to be the largest and biggest 5-star hotel with 390 rooms and 8 Food and Beverage outlets, 2 bars and lounge. He was involved in upgrade and renovation of the 300 rooms Gulf Hotel Tower and South Wings.
Also with the management team developed the concept in building the largest Convention and Exhibition Center attached to Gulf Hotel which considered as the first hotel in Bahrain with such facilities. He was also engaged in the development of Gulf Executive Residences, luxury apartment with 100 keys.
Involved in planning and pre-opening of Ocean Paradise Resort in Zanzibar which is under the Gulf Hotels Group Management that has 10% stake in the property; more recently was involved in opening the Gulf Spa in Gulf Hotel Bahrain, offering luxury spa services.

July 2007 – Present provides extensive regional and international services, ATTA works in close association with technical specialists in their professional disciplines ensuring its full professional standards and immense expertise in every project.
ATTA developed several hotel and hospitality projects in Bahrain, Qatar and Lebanon namely; Al Raya Suites, Oasis Hotel – Doha, Qatar, Oriental Garden – Lebanon. Consultancy services were also rendered to Coral Bay Bahrain and BAPCO (Bahrain Petroleum Company).
Also conducted successful seminars, workshops and in-house training to major companies in Bahrain i.e. Risk Mitigation and Crisis Management, Leveraging Cultural Differences and Strategic Polarities Seminar, Ignite the Leader Workshop and in-house trainings conducted in the premises of the company and Crisis and Reputation Management Seminar.
His dynamic and charismatic character played an important role in selling and marketing the Kingdom of Bahrain as an attractive destination and the hub for various international events.
